Jira Alu is a vegetarian dish where sweet potatoes, first boiled and then fried until golden brown, are combined with cumin (jira) and fragrant spices. It goes well with Murg Malai Tikka (chicken fillet cooked in a tandoori clay oven, combined with a delicate creamy nut sauce) or Chili Fish (pieces of fish with vegetables, with the addition of chili sauce).
